English Abstract
Richard Frankland describes the cultural loads that Indigenous people carry through strong and extended family links, which so often play out in education or the workplace. Jacki 'Jax' Brown shares her story of growing up with a disability and the assumptions that were made about her based on her disability. Dr Adele Murdolo shares her story of growing up as a child of migrant parents. Jax and Adele both share how their sexuality has brought an additional dimension to their stories.
