In this episode hosted by Lee FitzRoy (Coordinator - Sexual Harm and Prevention, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Deakin) we hear from Melissa Hale (Senior Finance Partner, Finance & Procurement Deakin) and Karuna Santosa (Student Wellbeing Ambassador, Deakin). Melissa and Karuna both share their experiences of attending professional development workshops created and delivered by the DEI team. They also discuss the importance of staff and students, who work in varied and complex roles across the university, actively participating in training and professional development.
