Every librarian at some point in their career will have to review and evaluate a library service or program. To do that, you need to develop a research question. Whilst sounding quite formal, a research question is simply stating the issue or question that you need to solve. In this session, Maeva and Aimee will walk you through the process of developing a good research question and determining how to answer your question. Drawing on their recent experience, leading the project Challenging diversity in children’s collections in the Northern Territory, Maeva and Aimee will share their research questions and lessons learned along the way.
The session speakers were Maeva Masterson and Aimee Hay. The session was facilitated by Professor Helen Partridge.
