A virtual seminar and discussion organised as part of the 'Australian Open Textbooks Project' (http://australianopentextbooks.edu.au/) which is currently interviewing students, academics, librarians and staff from various universities in Australia on the use of textbooks and the potential of adopting Open Educational Resources (OER) and diversification of content.

This seminar, which was chaired by Matt Brett (Deakin University) with Anne Lennox, Associate Director, Library Services (Teaching and Research) (RMIT), revolves around the discussion for the need for policy adjustments and equity initiatives to address local and international digital divides. The discussions were timely as higher education deals with major changes in the wake of COVID-19.
