he ‘cloud’ is ‘somebody else’s computer’. This means when we use the cloud to store, manage and process our data; we give a third-party access to it. In this staff only session, we will discuss the best practices for using cloud services and third parties. You will learn:

• What is the cloud? What classifies as third-party services?
• When does a cyber security vendor assessment and privacy assessment need to be completed? And what is involved?
• How to securely access a cloud service, SSO or create password manager auto generated passwords?
• As an administrator of cloud service, what controls (e.g., MFA, user onboarding and offboarding) should I put in place?
• What do I do if the cloud service I use is impacted by a data breach?
